Ms. Akshita Lad is an award-winning artist honored with the prestigious UAE Golden Visa by the Arts and Culture Ministry for her contributions to the arts.  Born in Mumbai and now based in Dubai, her passion for art and design has deep roots, nurtured in childhood visits to museums where she was inspired by the works of Da Vinci, Monet, Michelangelo, and Rembrandt.

Lad’s oeuvre spans portraits, landscapes, and abstract expressionism.  Her acclaimed Soft Impressions series reflects on cycles of nature and life, offering viewers serenity, joy, and a deeper sense of connectedness.

​

 Her works are acclaimed for their depth, elegance, and timeless beauty.  Guided by Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s words on doing one’s work “to the very best of her ability,” she paints with dedication, constantly refining her craft.

​

Ms. Lad’s passion extends beyond her artistry.  She believes in the power of feminine energy to create positive change and is dedicated to empowering girls through education.  She also staunchly advocates  for nature and animal protection.  Her paintings embody these values, making her an artist whose work is as meaningful as it is beautiful.
