The portraits in these series capture a moment in time that the subject's gaze is caught in contemplation.  The artist wants to invite the viewer to make their own connection to what the women in the portrait are thinking and feeling. As the saying goes We Try To Hide Our Feelings, But We Forget That Our Eyes Speak
